This is awesome on it's own as a snack, but try it as a topping on vanilla ice cream or yogurt for an a la mode experience too! Makes about 4 (4-1/4 cup) servings. Ingredients:
4 oz unpopped popcorn kernels, air popped (16 cups popped) |
2 tbsp melted coconut oil (a flavourful one like tropical traditions) |
2 tsp canola oil |
8 packets purevia turbinado and stevia blend (or 2 tbsp turbinado sugar) |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/4 tsp cardamom |
pinch nutmeg |
1/2 tbsp kosher salt |
1 cup diced dried apples |
Directions:
1. Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl and toss with the oils. 2. Combine the stevia, spices and salt and toss with the oiled popcorn. 3. Add the dried apples and toss well. 4. Serve immediately. |
