This is the recipe I use to make apple pie. I love it! Ingredients:
2 pillsbury pie crusts (or homemade if you have the skill/time) |
6 cups peeled, sliced apples |
3/4 cups sugar |
2 tbs flour |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/8 tsp nutmeg |
-crumble top |
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 tbs butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 2. Peel and slice apples 3. Line pie pan with crust 4. In a large bowl stir together sugar, flour (2 tbs), cinnamon, and nutmeg 5. Add apple sliced to mixture 6. Pour apple mixture into pie pan, trim crust 7. Prepare crumble topping by mixing 1/2 cup flour and brown sugar. 8. Cut in butter to topping with pastry blender until it resembles crumbs 9. Sprinkle apple filling with the crumble topping 10. Bake for 60 minutes then cool and enjoy! |
