Found in a magazine at work and, since I couldn't take the magazine home, I wanted to keep the recipe safe so I could try it later. Cook time does not include cool time. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar, plus |
2 teaspoons packed brown sugar, divided |
4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup sour cream |
4 eggs |
4 cups chopped and peeled apples |
3/4 cup chopped pecans |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. 2. Mix crumbs, butter and 2 T sugar, press into bottom of 9X13 glass pan to form crust. 3. Bake crust 10 minutes. 4. Beat cream cheese, 1°C sugar and vanilla until well blended. 5. Add sour cream, blend. 6. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mix low until all blended. 7. Pour over crust. 8. Mix remaining sugar (1/2 C.), apples, pecans and cinnamon, spoon over patter. 9. Bake 1hr, cool, refrigerate for 4 hours. |
