This recipe is straight up southern! Peach, pecans, and molassas.... and who doesnt love a butter crumb topping? makes impresive muffins too! Ingredients:
2 eggs |
1 tsp vanilla |
2 tsp molassas |
1/2 cup olive oil or vegetable oil |
1 cup sugar |
1 tsp cinnamon |
a few pinches of fresh nut meg |
1 cup peach apple sauce |
dry |
2 cups flour |
3/4 cup fine chopped pecans |
crumb topping |
1 stick of butterroom temp. |
1/4 cup chopped pecans |
1 cup flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
pinchof salt |
pinch of cinnimon |
Directions:
1. mix wet ingredients together in a bowl 2. add dry ingredients and stir till mixed 3. mix all ingredients for topping 4. pour into a buttered loaf pan and add crumb topping on top 5. bake at 350* till golden and springy in the middle |
