These are really good pancakes. I got this recipe from a rogers flour cook book and its been a favorite ever since. I usually double this recipe. and freeze the left overs, the kids love them reheated in the toaster. Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 egg (beaten) |
1 cup milk |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 cup apple (grated) |
1/2 cup blueberries (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. 2. Cook on a griddle. |
