My grandmother used to make these for my family on Sunday mornings. The apples add so much flavor that no maple syrup is needed. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
2 beaten eggs |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 1/2 cups milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons melted butter |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 cup chopped apple |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients together. 2. Combine eggs, butter, and milk. 3. Pour into flour mixture and stir until smooth. 4. Add apples and stir. 5. Drop by spoonfuls and cook. |
