Apple juice and onion soup mix and water with rice. I made a barley and mushroom dish and liked the flavor.Notr: the reviewer used salt free ingredients and that is the reason the rice tastest sweet. Ingredients:
2 cups white rice |
2 cups apple juice |
2 cups water |
1 (1 1/2 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix |
2 tablespoons margarine |
Directions:
1. Wash rice and drain. 2. Add apple juice and water in large saucepan. 3. Add margarine and dry onion soup mix. 4. Bring saucepan to a simmer. 5. Add rice. Stir. 6. Cover. Turn heat to low. Cook until liquid is absorbed. Cooking time is about 15 to 20 minutes. |
