My son was going through some of his old school memorabilia and found an apple cook book that his teacher had made with a recipe from each child's mother or grandmother. The school is Jasper Elementary School for the school year 1999-2000. Read more . This one was from Brittany Peardon. Ingredients:
1 c. shredded apples |
1 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal |
1 1/4 c oil |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/4 c. chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F 2. Combine all the ingredients and let stand for a few minutes to absorb liquids. 3. Spoon into oiled muffing pan filling well. 4. Bake for 25 minutes. |
