1 1/2 cup water |
3/4 cup oatmeal |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup lowfat milk (1082) or vanilla soy milk |
1/2 cup chopped dates |
1/2 cup chopped almonds |
1 apple, grated |
Directions:
1. Bring water to a boil. Add oatmeal, cinnamon, and salt. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until liquid is absorbed (about 10 minutes). Stir in remaining ingredients and serve hot. |
