My mom's most requested recipe. This is a moist cake with a crisp top. Very easy to tote to pot lucks. Try it, you'll like it! Ingredients:
3 eggs, well beaten |
1 3/4 cups sugar |
1 cup canola oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
4 apples, peeled and sliced |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients in order given in a large mixing bowl then fold in apples and nuts. 2. Spread in a 9 X 13 pan. 3. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes. |
