APPLE NUT PUDDING This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Dawson Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
1 egg beaten |
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 cup chopped apples |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
1 teaspoon almond extract |
Directions:
1. Beat sugar and egg then add sifted dry ingredients. 2. Stir in apples and nuts then pour into greased cake pan. 3. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. |
