Apple Noodle Kugel

It can be made ahead of time and reheated. Great to take to a holiday dinner. Can be used as a side dish or a dessert.
Ingredients:
1/2 lb cooked medium noodles
3 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 sliced apples (macintosh, golden delicious etc.)
1/4 cup raisins
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. Mix melted butter with cooked noodles.Add egg yolks, sugar and other ingredients and mix well. Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture. Bake in greased 2 quart baking dish in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until browned. Serve hot.
