1 3/4 cups flour |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1 pinch salt |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
2 tablespoons milk |
4 -5 apples (peeled & shredded) |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/3 cup chopped almonds (optional) or 1/3 cup raisins (optional) |
2 eggs, separated |
2 cups sour cream |
1/3 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Dough:. 2. Cut butter into flour, set aside. Mix egg, milk sugar and milk and add to crumb mixture. Roll out and pat into a springform pan. Make sure you spray the pan first. Make sure it comes up the sides of the pan. 3. Put the apple mixture in the pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350. 4. For sour cream mixture:. 5. Beat egg whites and set aside. Mix the 2 egg yolks with sugar and sour cream, fold egg whites into the sour cream mixture and pour on top of apple mixture that has just come out of the oven. 6. Put back in the oven to bake for 1/2 hour. 7. ENJOY. |
