A very filling and low-fat breakfast, perfect for those crisp fall days. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups milk |
1 1/2 cups water |
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats |
1 cup chopped peeled apple |
2 tablespoons raisins |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan, bring milk and water to boil. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook until thick. 3. Cover and let stand a few minutes. |
