Apple Golden Raisin Cheesecake Bars |

These wonderful cheescake bars will put a smile on your face. I love the combo of golden raisins and apples. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups rolled oats |
3/4 cup flour |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. white sugar |
3/4 cup butter flavored crisco |
2 (8 ounce) packages softened cream cheese |
2 large eggs |
1tsp vanilla |
1 cup chopped granny smith apples |
1/2 cup golden raisins |
1 tsp. almond extract |
1/2 tsp. cinnamon |
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg |
1/4 tsp. ground allspice |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350* 2. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar and 1/4 cup white sugar in a large bowl, mix well. 3. Cut in crisco with fork until crumbs form. Reserve 1 cup. 4. Spray 13x9 inch baking pan. 5. Press remaining mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. 6. Bake at 350* for 12 to 15 minutes or until mixture sets. Place on cooling rack. 7. Combine cream cheese,eggs, 1/2 cup white sugar and vanilla in large bowl. 8. Beat at medium speed with mixer until well blended. 9. Spread evenly over crust. 10. Combine apples and raisins in medium bowl. 11. Add almond extract;stir 12. Add 2 tbsp sugar, cinnamon,nutmeg, and all spice;mix well 13. Top cream cheese mixture evenly with apple mixture;sprinkle reserved oat mixture evenly over top. 14. Bake at 350* for 20 to 25 minutes or until top is golden. 15. Place on cooling rack;cool completely. 16. Cut into bars. |
