Apple Ginger Mint Iced Tea |

A great icy cold drink for a hot summer day! In the winter, drink it hot! Enjoy! Ingredients:
2 -3 green tea bags (single serving size-i use decaf) |
2 inches piece ginger, grated |
1/4 apple, grated |
1 -2 sprig mint |
2 cups boiling water |
1/2 cup apple cider (or apple juice) |
2 cups ice, in pitcher |
honey, as desired |
Directions:
1. Combine tea bags, ginger, apple and mint in a tea pot. 2. Fill with boiling hot water and steep for 5 minutes. 3. Pour and strain into ice-filled pitcher. 4. Add apple cider and honey as desired. 5. Fill individual glasses with ice and serve. |
