This is a beverage from a Nita Mehta Cookbook 'Low fat desserts'that is nice. Ingredients:
1/2 cup apple juice |
1 teaspoon fresh ginger root juice |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
2 teaspoons sugar or 2 teaspoons honey or 2 teaspoons artificial sweetener, to taste |
1/2 cup bottled soda pop |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except the soda in a glass. 2. Top with the chilled soda. 3. Drink/ Serve immediately. |
