I got this recipe from and although I haven't tried it yet, it looks very tasty. Ingredients:
1 cup apple juice |
1 teaspoon cornstarch |
2 eggs |
1 tablespoon sugar, white |
4 large apples |
2 eggs |
100 g dried coconut flakes or 100 g breadcrumbs |
3 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. For the cream sauce, combine the first four ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 2. Remove from heat and let it cool. 3. For the fritters, peel and core the apple using an apple corer. 4. Slice crosswise into 1/2 inch-thick rings. 5. In a bowl, beat the eggs. 6. Dip apple slices in egg and coat with coconut flakes. 7. Pan-fry in butter until golden brown on both side. 8. Arrange on a serving plate and serve warm with cream sauce. |
