Basically a mini deep-fried pie Ingredients:
1 can apple pie filling |
1 pkg cream cheese; softened |
1 tbsp cinnamon |
1/4 caramel ice cream topping |
12 egg roll wrappers |
water |
oil for frying |
1/2 cup of caramel ice cream topping; optional (for garnish) |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375F. 2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together first 4 ingredients together. 3. Lay out egg roll wrappers on a clean surface with the corners facing you. 4. Spoon 2 tbsp of apple filling onto the centre of each wrapper. 5. fold in both sides of the wrapper to resemble an egg roll. 6. Use water on the tip of your fingers to seal the 'eggroll'. 7. Deep fry until golden brown. 8. Drain on paper towel. 9. Cool slightly before serving. 10. Drizzle with caramel if desired |
