I got this from a friend Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup chopped pecans or 1 cup walnuts |
1 can apple pie filling, chopped |
1 cup powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Dump first 8 ingredients into a large bowl and mix together. 2. Add nuts. 3. Fold in apple pie filling. 4. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. When cake has cooled, combine icing ingredients and spoon over cake. |
