2 1/2 ounces butter |
2/3 cup brown sugar |
3 tablespoons milk |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/3 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon clove |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped |
1/2 cup dates, chopped |
1/2 cup apple, peeled, chopped |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease a 9 x 13 pan. 3. Cream butter & brown sugar in bowl. 4. Add egg & milk. 5. Stir in apples. 6. Add flour, baking soda, & spices, & mix well. 7. Add dates & nuts. 8. Spread in greased pan and bake 20 - 25 minutes. 9. Cool 10 minutes before cutting. |
