Another recipe from Irony-chan. Ingredients:
5 apples |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 cup rolled oats (not instant) |
2/3 cup packed light brown sugar |
1/2 cup all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon table salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice |
2/3 cup melted butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Peel, core and slice the apples, and arrange in a baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt and allspice. Pour in melted butter and stir until it forms small pebbly clumps, about the size of a pea. Distribute evenly over apples. Bake in preheated oven 35 minutes. Serve warm with milk or vanilla ice cream. |
