Sorta like an apple pie, but without the crust. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1/4 cup butter |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 cup sugar |
4 -5 apples |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 tablespoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325*. 2. Butter a 13x9 inch pan. 3. Mix flour, butter,and the first amounts of cinnamon and sugar in a medium bowl. 4. In a small bowl mix the cinnamon and sugar for the apples. 5. Peel, core, and chop apples into thin slices. 6. Make layers of apples and cinnamon sugar mixture. (Apples, then a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar) Until all the apples and mixture is used. 7. Place the crumble mixture on top of the apples. 8. For a very crispy top, pat down the crumble almost like a crust. For a not so crispy top, just crumble it over the apples. 9. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until crumble is golden brown. |
