Well, in my search of my Strawberry Jelly and Whipped Cream Filled donut along with my Archway Almond cookie, I stumbled upon two new url's. Ingredients:
6 apples -- sliced thin |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
⅓ cup sugar |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
⅛ teaspoon ginger |
4 cups sponge cake -- in small cubes |
1/2 cup margarine -- melted |
Directions:
1. Mix apples with lemon juice, sugar and spices. 2. Toss cake cubes with margarine. 3. Put 1/3 of cake in greased 8 x12 dish, top with half of apples. Repeat. 4. Top with remaining cubes. 5.
