Ingredients:
3 pound(s) tart apples peel, core, chop |
2 tablespoon(s) lemon juice |
1 cup(s) brown surgar |
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg |
1/3 cup(s) all-purpose flour |
1/3 cup(s) rolled oats |
4 tablespoon(s) cold butter |
1/2 cup(s) walnuts or peacons chopped |
Directions:
1. Peel, core, chop apples 2. mix lemon juice with apples 3. Seperate bowl combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg 4. stir the two bowll together 5. another bowl comine flour, sugar and oats 6. mix in the butter with the flour til it looks like crumbs 7. cover the bottom of a 10x10 dish with apples 8. spread the flour mixture across the top 9. Cook at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until a light brown color on the top |
