Easy and delicious! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons lemon juice |
1/4 cup water |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
6 tablespoons butter |
8 tart apples |
3/4 cup flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, water & cinnamon in a greased 8x8x2 inches dish. Peel & slice apples into dish & toss to coat. Blend remaining 1/2 cup sugar, flour, salt & butter in a small bowl until crumbly. Spread over apples & gently pat down into the apples. 2. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until apples are tender & crust is brown. |
