Basic apple crisp recipe low in sugar
Ingredients:
5 cups sliced peeled apples
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup margarine
Directions:
1. Place fruit in 8 in round baking dish, stir in sugar.
2. For topping, combine oats, brown sugar flour and cinnamon.
3. Cut in margarine til mix resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Sprinkle over apples.
5. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
6. Serve warm with ice cream.
