Apples topped with a sweet crunchy topping (No oatmeal) From Pat Scott Ingredients:
4 cups sliced apples |
1 cup sugar |
3/4 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 dash salt |
1/2 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Spread apples evenly over the base of a 9 pie plate. 2. Combine all dry ingredients with butter until it forms a crumbly consistency. 3. Pour mixture evenly over apple slices. 4. Bake at 375F (190C) for 45 minutes or until top is brown. |
