Every year our little country church has a fall supper to raise funds to pay the heat bill and other upkeep. It is a very small church and all chip in and work together to make this fundraiser a success. It is easy, simple and quick and kids love it! A scoop of ice cream when still warm is scrumptious! I hope you enjoy it! Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar |
4 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
4 -6 cups sliced apples |
1 cup flour |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Mix together 3/4 cup of sugar, 4Tbs. flour, 1 teaspoons cinnamon, and 4-6 cups sliced apples. 2. Put apple mixture in the bottom of a lightly buttered 9 x 13 pan. Not a dark pan. 3. Cut 1/2 cup of soft butter into 1 cup of flour and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. 4. Sprinkle topping over the apples. 5. Preheat oven - 350 degrees. Bake - 60 minutes. |
