A great recipe from Wholesome Sweeteners! Ingredients:
5 apples, peeled and sliced |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 cup rolled oats |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup maple syrup |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 cup pecans, finely chopped |
1/4 cup butter, softened |
Directions:
1. Mix apples with lemon juice and cinnamon in a 8 x8 baking pan. 2. Combine oats, flour, maple syrup, cinnamon, pecans in a bowl. 3. Mix in the butter with your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 4. Spread evenly over the apples. 5. Bake for 25 minutes at 375°F. |
