This is an adapation of Cindi Bauer's Apple Crisp Apple Crisp. I didn't want to mess with peeling and slicing apples, so I made a few changes, and here is my version. It comes out more like a cobbler. Ingredients:
2 cans apple pie filling |
1/4 cup granulated sugar |
2/3 cup flour |
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
3/4-1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 cup quick oats |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
Directions:
1. Place apple pie filling in a 10x10 baking pan. 2. Sprinkle the granulated sugar over filling evenly. 3. In a bowl combine flour,brown sugar,cinnamon and butter. 4. Mix until crumbly. 5. Sprinkle over filling. 6. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown. 7. Can be served warm with vanilla ice cream. 8. But is just as good without. |
