This crock pot recipe is good for the Fall or whenever you have an excess of apples! I always make it for Thanksgiving Dinner. Ingredients:
6 apples |
2 c. fresh cranberries |
2 c. brown sugar |
2/3 c. quick cooking oatmeal |
1/2 tsp salt |
2 tsp. cinnamon |
2/3 c. butter, softened |
Directions:
1. Peel, core and slice apples. 2. Place apple slices and cranberries in crock pot. 3. Place remaining ingredients on top. 4. Cover. 5. Cook on high for about 2 hours. 6. If you do this in the oven, bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 min. |
