I have made this recipe for years. makes a wonderful gift. Ingredients:
4 cups coarsely chopped apples |
1 cup sugar |
4 inches cinnamon sticks, broken |
2 cups brandy |
Directions:
1. In a canning jar, combine apple, sugar and cinnamon. 2. Pour brandy over, mix well. 3. Cover with lid, Invert the jar daily until sugar is dissolved; about 4 days. 4. Store in cool dark place for 4- 6 weeks. 5. Strain through cheesecloth before bottling. |
