Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar |
2 cups brown sugar |
1 cup shortening |
4 eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 teaspoons salt |
6 cups flour |
1 cup sour cream |
4 cups diced apples |
2 cups nuts |
2 cups raisins |
Directions:
1. Cream together sugars and shortening. 2. Add eggs and vanilla. 3. Stir in dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. 4. Fold in apples, nuts, and raisins. 5. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet. 6. Bake at 325° about 8-10 minutes or until light brown. |
