This is an incredibly tasty slaw. Everytime I make this recipe I have to double the recipe and there is still none left. My family and friends loves it and hope you do too. It is a highly requested recipe around here. Ingredients:
1 medium cabbage cored finely shredded |
2 large carrots peeled julienne |
1 bunch scallions thinly sliced |
1/2 cup finely minced parsley leaves |
4 fuji apples peeled cored julienne |
dressing |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1/3 cup poppy seeds |
1/3 cup honey |
2 teaspoons kosher salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl combine cabbage, carrots, scallions, parsley, and apples. In medium bowl combine all dressing ingredients together until well blended then set aside. Combine dressing and salad and toss until well blended then refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Mix salad right before serving to evenly distribute the dressing. |
