Pancakes with no added fat or sugar. Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup oatmeal |
1/2 cup milk, non-fat, dry |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 tsp baking powder |
3/4 cup applesauce |
1/2 cup water |
2 egg whites |
Directions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients, applesauce and water in mixing bowl until just combined. 2. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into pancake batter. 3. Drop by 1/4-cup amounts onto medium-low non-stick skillet. Turn once when bubbles form on top of pancake. |
