I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Ossg Recipes. I plan to use Splenda for the sugar. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 cup sugar |
8 ounces refrigerated crescent dinner rolls |
2 large apples, peeled, cored, cut into 8 wedges (golden delicious or granny smith) |
3 tablespoons butter, melted or 3 tablespoons margarine |
1/4 cup orange juice or 1/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar together. Unroll crescent. 3. roll dough; separate into 8 triangles. Cut each in half lengthwise to make. 4. 16 triangular strips. Place an apple wedge on the wide end of each strip;. 5. roll up. 6. Arrange rolls in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Drizzle with the melted. 7. butter; sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Pour orange juice or water. 8. into baking dish, but NOT OVER rolls. 9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until rolls are golden brown, and apple. 10. wedges are tender. |
