A nice change of pace side dish for pork chops. Ingredients:
3/4 cup long-grain rice |
1 1/2 cups apple juice |
1 cup chunky applesauce |
1/4 cup raisins |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley |
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except parsley. Bring to a boil and stir. Reduce heat to simmer; cover and cook 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir in parsley. |
