This recipe goes with Mixed Greens Salad With Apple Cider Vinaigrette, Mixed Greens With Toasted Almonds and Apple Cider Vinaigrette Ingredients:
2 tablespoons sesame seeds |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
1/3 cup sugar |
1/2 cup olive oil |
2 teaspoons minced onion |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat sesame seeds in a small skillet over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, 3 minutes or just until toasted. 2. Microwave vinegar in a medium-size, microwave-safe glass bowl at HIGH 1 minute or just until hot. Add sugar, and whisk until dissolved. Add next 3 ingredients, toasted sesame seeds, and, if desired, poppy seeds; whisk until blended. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week. |
