2 tablespoons olive oil |
2 red onions, sliced thinly |
1 cup cider vinegar |
2 granny smith apples, peeled,cored,diced |
1 cup cherries, pitted |
1/2 inch peeled ginger, minced |
1/2 teaspoon allspice |
Directions:
1. heat oil in a saucepan, add onions, lower heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. 2. remove lid, add remaining ingredients. 3. stir and simmer 25 minutes. 4. serve chilled or at room temperature. |
