APPLE BRIE CHEESE OMELET This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Folsom Estate in Mesquite, Texas in 1991. Ingredients:
2 apples peeled cored and thinly sliced |
8 tablespoons butter |
8 eggs |
8 teaspoons cream |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
2 tablespoons butter |
8 tablespoon diced brie cheese |
Directions:
1. Sauté apple in butter. 2. Beat together eggs, cream, salt and pepper until blended but not frothy. 3. Melt butter in omelet pan over high heat until foam begins to recede. 4. Pour in egg mixture and prepare omelet beating to lighten but still set on the bottom. 5. Fill with sautéed apples and diced brie cheese cubes. 6. Fold or roll and slide out of pan onto a heated plate. |
