apple flavor,low fat & high fiber Ingredients:
apple bran muffins |
1 cup all puupose flour |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1 cup natural bran |
1/3 cup brown sugar 1 used 1/2 cup splenda brown sugar |
1 tbsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1 cup applesauce |
2 tbsp canola oil |
1 large egg |
1/2 cup 1% buttermilk |
1 tsp vanilla |
1/2 tsp maple flavoring |
1/4 cup finely chopped dates |
1 cup dicced apples |
Directions:
1. Stir first 6 ingredients together in large bowl, make a well in the center 2. Whisk applesauce ,oil, egg, buttermilk,vanilla and maple flavoring together in small bowl. stir in dates . Pour into well of dry ingredients . Stir just untill moistened .
