My mom was the cook for our church preschool, and these were always a hit with the kids there. Ingredients:
3 cups unpeeled diced apples |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
3/4 cup oil |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
1 3/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Stir together apples, sugar, oil, eggs and nuts. 2. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into apple mixture. 3. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan and bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes. |
