Can't say I made this, just copied it straight from G-ma Roberts hand written book of recipes. Ingredients:
canned beans |
apples |
brown sugar |
butter |
bacon |
Directions:
1. Sprinkle canned beans with finely chopped or grated raw apple. 2. Dot with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar. 3. Top with small pieces of partially cooked bacon, bake at 350 degree oven until the dish is thoroughly heated. 4. Can we say not heart healthy? Oh, my Grandma. Butter & Bacon? |
