Deliciously different You can use turkey sausage if you prefer, or soy based sausage and vegetarian beans for a vegetarian option. Ingredients:
3- 15 oz cans baked beans ( any favorite kind ) |
1 16 oz can apple pie filling |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 lb breakfast sausage , your favorite |
1/2 cup onion diced |
Directions:
1. Brown sausage in skillet, breaking it up into bite size pieces. 2. Drain off fat well. 3. Drain 3 cans of the beans, and mix with all the other ingredients. 4. Add sausage. 5. Bake uncovered at 275 for 6 to 7 hours. 6. Oruntil the beans reach the consistency that you like. which may in much less time |
