You can play with this recipe and create different flavors by your choice of fruits you use. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 c flour |
1 1/2 ts baking powder |
1/2 ts salt |
3/4 c sugar |
1 c milk |
1/2 ts vanilla |
1/2 c butter or margarine |
4 c fresh or canned fruit or berries, drained |
1 c fruit juice |
Directions:
1. Mix until smooth the dry ingredients with the milk and vanilla. Melt butter in 8 x 10 baking pan. Pour batter over melted butter. Place over batter the fruit. Pour over the top, 1 cup fruit juice. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30-35 mins. until light brown. |
