Savory spanish-influenced appetizer that is perfect as a dip or atop crackers/toast as a spread for dynamite hors d'oeuvres. Ingredients:
3 ounces spanish chorizo, roughly chopped (3 small or medium size links) |
2 ounces cilantro |
1 garlic clove |
2 ounces creme fraiche (can be substituted with sour cream) |
3 tablespoons olive oil |
fresh ground pepper |
Directions:
1. A very straight-forward approach once again, add chopped chorizo, cilantro, garlic clove into a food processor and pureed. 2. Add oil and cream, while pulsing. 3. Pour into small serveware ramekin(s) for a dip or dollop as a spread on top of your favorite gourmet crackers for a platter of hors d'oeuvres. |
