Another recipe from the New Zealand foreign exchange student who shared her recipes with our community. These look delicious! Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour |
1/3 cup sugar |
2/3 cup coconut |
2/3 cup rolled oats |
2 ounces butter |
1 tablespoon light molasses |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
2 tablespoons boiling water |
Directions:
1. Mix the flour, sugar, coconut and oats. 2. Melt the butter with the molasses. 3. Dissolve the baking soda in boiling water; add to the butter mixture. 4. Make a well in the center of the flour; add the liquid and stir well to combine. 5. Place spoonfuls on greased cookie trays and bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes. |
