Antoinette's Plain Pound Cake (W/ Crisco) |

There are lots of pound cake recipes but this one is a little different because it uses crisco and no butter. Ingredients:
1 cup crisco |
4 beaten eggs |
2 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
3 cups flour |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Cream together crisco and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. 2. Sift flour and baking powder together and add to egg mixture along with milk. 3. Bake in a tube pan at 350 for one hour. |
