This is a differnt way to serve antipaso and you can add anything you like: roasted peppers, olives, different cheeses. Your choice. Ingredients:
10 ounces havarti cheese, cubed |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
3 tablespoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 (6 ounce) jar mushroom caps, drained |
6 slices cocktail rye bread, quartered |
you will need 24 skewers |
Directions:
1. Mix garlic, olive oil, parsley, salt, and pepper together in a medium bowl. 2. Toss in mushrooms, and allow to marinate for 20 minutes. T 3. hread one piece each, bread, mushroom, and havarti onto cocktail toothpicks or small skewers. 4. Arrange on a platter, drizzle with remaining marinade, and serve. |
